Review: Delicious Skin Taster Pack

Two posts in one week, I'm on a roll! I couldn't wait to share my thoughts on the Delicious Skin products I've recently been testing out (and LOVING!!!!) I picked up the Taster Pack that is $35 and comes with the four face products and a bonus lip salve with enough product in each to last 2 weeks (I've been using it almost every night for almost 3 weeks and still have a little bit left!)

Let's start with what I use first the Deliciously Clean Butter Cleanser - at first, I was unsure about this product as I have preferred foam cleansers but this is just, wonderful. I warm it in between my hands and then apply it all over my face, it contains peppermint, lavender and chamomile which just leaves me feeling super calm and nice when applied and the smell isn't overpowering in the slightest. I wait for 5 minutes and then remove it using warm water and a face cloth which helps softly exfoliate my skin. This cleanser isn't sticky and doesn't leave a residue once removed and it doesn't make my skin feel stripped but so soft and silky. I'm ready to buy the full size!

Next I use the Deliciously Supple Silk Serum - this is a dry oil that helps rejuvenate, hydrate and heal the skin. I apply 3 drops in the evenings and have also started adding a few drops into my foundation which has made it look so soft on the skin and I'm loving that, my skin is too! There's still tons of this product left in the sample but I am seriously going to buy the full size of this too.

Next is the Deliciously Soft Moisturizing Cream - this is a super rich and creamy moisturizer, I warm it up in my hands a tiny amount before I apply it onto my face and it helps it just melt right into my skin, sort of turning into a clear oil. This also is one of the most delicious (ironic right!) smelling skin care items I've ever used - it has cocoa butter in it and it's so YUMMY. Perfect for the colder weather that is coming up in Australia, I'm going to be sitting in my pajamas each night with this all over my face in heaven!

Deliciously Smooth Exfoliating Mask - now this the only product I'm not too fond of, I find it hard to make it into a paste and all the tiny bits of almonds and oats seem to fly everywhere and it doesn't ever really seem to cover my entire face. I'm not sure if I'm just applying it wrong but I've tried mixing it in a bowl/in my hands and it hasn't seemed to be any more easier, haha. However on the places of my skin I can get it to work - it's super nice and leaves my skin smooth!

I've already posted this picture on my Instagram as I am now in love with this - it smells SO good, it feels SO good and it leaves my lips so plump and smooth and lovely and BUY IT RIGHT NOW!!!

That's all of the products in the Taster Pack - I am seriously going to buy 4/5 of the full size items (maybe even the exfoliater in the end if we can get along!) but I cannot tell you enough how much I am enjoying these products and how noticeably different my skin has been since I've started using them - people have even commented how nice my skin is looking too! It's super soft and clean, a lot of the redness has gone down around my nose (which is HUGE for me!) - I enjoy how my skin looks without make up (another HUGE deal for me) and it's helped my make up apply so much more evenly and not broken up through the day. I've had favourite skin care items from REN and Innoxa for months and years but they have taken a back seat to these - I am so excited to clean my face every day with them and I just feel so glowy and nice.

Delicious Skin is an Australian brand that strives to bring natural, cruelty free, vegan and affordable products and I seriously want you to try them out more than any other product I've ever recommended to you before.

I also want to add that I did not get sent these or asked to do this review - I bought them with my own money and I honestly just cannot love them any more than I already do.

As always, thank you for reading! XO

Vegan Products from Milani!

Hello friends, last week I got this massive box of Milani goodies delivered to my house and I thought I would share with you what I bought (especially if you want to see individual reviews!)

For the longest time, I didn't support Milani anymore but they've made a massive effort to become re-certified cruelty free by both Peta, Leaping Bunny and one of the bloggers I trust the most about this - Logical Harmony - you can read more about it here! They have their full vegan list available on their website and on individual products so I'm happy to support them once again!

I picked up 6 of the baked blushes, some that were previously owned that I had given away to friends so I'm excited to own them again.  They are $8.49 and beautiful, pigmented, blendable and smooth.
(L-R) Bella Rosa - Matte, Corallina - Shimmer, Berry Amore - Shimmer

(L-R) Luminoso - Satin, Dolce Pink - Shimmer, Rose D'oro - Shimmer

I picked up a bunch of their eyeshadows that I've never tried before previously and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well they've swatched and how nice they feel - I can't wait to try them properly! They are described as a wet powder that dries to a powder finish and they can be used dry or wet for more intense colour pay off. They come in three different finishes, satin matte, shimmer and iridescent metallic.

(L-R) Bella White - Satin Matte, Bella Sand - Shimmer, Bella Cappucino - Satin Matte

(L-R) Bella Copper - Metallic, Bella Caffe - Satin Matte,Bella Champage - Shimmer, Bella Caffe - Satin Matte (I have two of these and only realized now - dur!)
(L-R) Bella Espresso - Satin Matte, Bella Taupe - Satin Matte, Bella Gold - Metallic, Bella Bronze - Metallic

Brilliant shine lip glosses - $4.99 and not too sticky! They have a good colour pay off and can be worn by themselves or worn over the top of a lip pencil or lipstick to add shine and colour!

(L-R) Luminous, Bare Secret, Pink Lady, Coral Crush, Sweet Grapefruit, Rose Blush, Red My Lips

Eye Tech Liquid Eye Liner - I don't really use eyeliners much anymore but I wanted to try this out and see how it goes - it 's a standard black eyeliner that has a felt tip and it was around $9 so I'm not too fussed if it dries out as I know a lot of felt tips tend to!

I also picked up a black pencil liner and I'll let you know how I get on with this!

I would be lying if I said I didn't get this just because of how seriously cute it is! This kit comes with a highlight shade, two brow shades to mix (although I got the light ones when I should have got the medium!), a tiny pair of tweezers, two brushes and a magnifying mirror - perfect for traveling!

Eyeshadow primer is always something I skip when I apply my makeup but as I was buying so many eyeshadows from Milani, I thought I would give this a try too! It's a flesh toned colour and the consistency reminds me of the Urban Decay primer I used to use!

Another product I just threw in the cart to try and I'm so glad I did - I've already used this (oops!) as after I swatched it, I couldn't stop myself! This is so beautiful and creamy and blendable and I can wear this with a little matte brown eyeshadow and I'm good to go for the day! I want to try more of the shades now!

Even Touch Powder Foundation in "Shell" - I picked this up to try for days when I don't want to wear much, it feels smooth and the colour looks light enough for my skin so we'll see!

And phew! That's all of it. Milani is super affordable and has some really amazing products - as I said they label all of their vegan products and shades so it's extremely easy to find what's vegan friendly, I purchased mine from MYUS (the American forwarding website) but you can find them on websites such as Beautyjoint.com - I'll try and post up reviews on the individual products when I've tried them out properly especially the eyeshadows and eye products!

As always, thank you for reading! XO

February Favourites 2015!

Hi friends! I haven't done a favourites post since sometime last year so here are some products I've been seriously LOVING lately - yesterday I did a swatch post of the Colourpop Lippie Stix and Pencils so instead of adding them in here, I suggest you go read that as they should be included in my favourites too!
Let's start with Deep Steep's Dry Oil Body Spritzer - this a body oil that is suppose to make your skin feel smooth, supple and moisturized and I believe it does just that! It isn't greasy or sticky at all, it doesn't leave a weird texture to my skin and it soaks right up after I apply it. I have the scent passion fruit guava and it comes in a range of other fragrances too! Deep Steep have a range of other lovely bath and body products that are all vegan too so definitely give them a go. I love their hand creams and body scrubs!

REN Keep Young And Beautiful Firming And Soothing Serum - This is an anti-aging serum that is suppose to firm, lift and restructure the skin - although I'm only 23 and I don't think I really need any products aimed at "anti-aging" - I did like reading the reviews and results of this serum so I decided to pick it up anyway and I'm SO glad I did. This serum has completely changed my skin, it leaves it super hydrated and replenished and has brightened my complexion. I noticed a difference after the first night using it and I haven't stopped since!

Next is ColourPop shadows - not any specific shades as I have quite a few but the formula! They are SUPER creamy and buttery, they're incredibly pigmented and soft and lovely and pictures just don't do them justice. I apply them with my fingers as it gives the most intense pay off and then blend them out that way. $5.00 each and worth every cent! They have the non-vegan shades listed on their website too.

After getting confirmation this was vegan, I headed straight to Mecca to get my little hands on it! This is Hourglass's Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light and I'm in LOVE. This is so soft and beautiful, I actually use it to set my entire face makeup as a translucent powder would, it doesn't look cakey or powdery - it's so finely milled that it blends right into the skin. I haven't gone a single day without using this since I bought it over a month ago! There's a list of the other vegan products from Hourglass online here (not the full updated list) or you can email them yourself for confirmation like I did!

I picked up the Mineral Brown Brow Powder Kit from The All Natural Face and I've been loving it. I use mostly this light brown shade to fill in my brows (usually I use E.L.F's brow kit and the gel side!) and they appear so full and put together. This was $9.20 for two shades of the brow powder and the eyebrow kit so definitely worth picking up!

I've been searching for a nude shade that doesn't look like white paint on my fingertips or wash my skin out as I'm already super pale and I've found Deborah Lippmann's Sarah Smile which is perfect. This is a super pale pink that is sheer but pigmented. I bought it on sale on Ebay and I know they used to have some on Luxola! The shade I'm wearing in the picture is Break 4 Love also by Deborah Lippmann which I'm loving too!

Another powder product I've been putting on my face every single day is Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pressed "MoonStone" - this is SO beautiful, so shimmery, blendable, creamy and this paired with the Hourglass powder I mentioned turns my skin super glowy and radiant. I use this even if I don't really have anywhere to be or go. I've become obsessed!

Lastly, I'm sure you've heard all about these liquid lipsticks but with good reason - these are freaking AMAZINNNNNG. I've tried my fair share of liquid lipsticks and hands down these are one of the best, if not the best out there. They're so pigmented, apply amazingly, they don't end up balled up or leaving dry flakes on your lips, I can eat and drink and I received so many compliments when wearing them. The red is probably my all time favourite red lipstick I've ever tried in my life! Go get you some!

These were all my favourites of the past few months, I've been trying to use other brands and try new products so if there's anything that you think I should try - don't hesitate to share them with me!

As always, thank you for reading! xo
