Colourpop Lippie Stix & Lip Pencil Swatches!

Hello! I'm here to show you swatches of all the lippie stix and lip pencils I own from Colourpop - I attempted (and failed) to have lip swatches in this post but I just couldn't, by the 4th lip pencil/lipstick I applied, my lips were chapped and stained and none of the colours were showing up how they usually do and having over 30 lipsticks on my lips for one day was just not on so what I've done is swatch the lipstick with the matching lip pencil and then shown what they look like when mixed together!

Let's start with nude shades!
Bound is a nude pink on it's own but with the lip pencil underneath can turn into a nude brown - I prefer it solo!

Frida is one of my favourites of them all - a warmer pink that can be turned slightly coral and deeper with the lip pencil!

Luminere - a deeper mauve pink - would be a great nude on a range of different skin tones!

Easy - a pale baby pink - I can't wear this without the pencil as it's way too frosty on my pigmented lips but I love the two together anyway!

Cake is a light coral with a bold punch to it!

Tipsy - a very neon peach unless worn with the lip pencil - I prefer to add a pink lip pencil with this instead!

Fancy - a mid-tone coral that's not too orange or pink - LOVE!

Brunch - a super bright coral that can lean more pink!

Rocket - Another pinky coral and another favourite of mine!

Punky - described as a warm neon pink - this is super bright, pigmented and perfect for spring & summer!

Fetch - a warm true pink - similiar to punky but I needed (or wanted, whatever!) both!

Trixie - a red-ish coral, pink that is super bright and bold! I can't really pick what shade it truly is as it looks different every time I swatch and wear it but I love this one too!

I heart this - a red based fuschia, I love wearing just the lipstick on it's own!

Frenchie - warm neon red - the matte shades last forever especially these bold colours!

Clique - similiar to Frenchie but this is more of an orange red!

Bossy - a blue based red that would look beautiful on everyone!

Heart on - a cool toned magenta, super pretty!

Scandy - a cool toned neon pink

Flawless - a deep red violet

And that's all of them!

Colourpop Lippie Stix and Pencils are both $5.00 each - they come in a range of different shades, finishes (satin, glossy, matte), they can be worn alone (both lipsticks and pencils) or they can be mixed and matched with other shades to create your own. All shades that I have are super pigmented and creamy and apply smoothly and I urge you to go buy some for yourself because I clearly cannot get enough!

As always, thank you for reading! xo

Mini Review/Swatches: Makeup Geek Blushes!

Finally I have a chance to sit down and share some makeup with you! February has been super busy for me so I haven't been able to post much, I do however post on my Instagram small pictures of what products I'm using that day if you want to keep up with that!

Today I thought I would talk about something quick and easy - a few shades of the Makeup Geek blushes I own! I have a review on their eyeshadows that I love here that you can also see.

I have 8 shades of the blushes and there's 2 in the line that aren't vegan: First Love and Romance.

(L-R; Head Over Heels, Hanky Panky, Rendezvous, Love Affair)

Head Over Heels
This is a bright pink shade with the slightest shimmer, the texture is super buttery (more so than most of the others I have) and feels so soft to apply. The perfect every day flush shade!

Hanky Panky
A matte rosy pink shade, super pigmented and be applied sheer or built up!

Rendezvous
This looks similiar swatched next to Hanky Panky however in person this leans way more purple and darker!

Love Affair
Another matte pink, slightly coral red shade - great for a bold look!

(L-R; Honeymoon, Spellbound, Smitten, Bliss)

Honeymoon
A light orangey pink with silver flecks - I love adding this over some of the deeper shades to create more of a glow!

Spellbound
A salmon pink with the same buttery texture and sheen look as Head Over Heels - I would say this is definitely one of my favourites!

Smitten
Described as a pale creamy apricot shade, this is matte and so pigmented like the others!

Bliss
A coral peachy shade that adds a super glow to the cheeks!

And that's all of the eight shades I own, there's a few more vegan shades I want to pick up (I can't control myself really!) - my two favourites are Head Over Heels and Spellbound! But overall I love these blushes, they are $10 in the pan or a few dollars extra if you want it in a compact, they are all super blendable, creamy in texture, pigmented and come in stunning colours ranging from the light wearable shades or darker night time pops of colours.

Plus if you get it in a Z palette like myself - very travel friendly which is a bonus!

As always, thank you for reading! XO

Review: Cover FX Natural Finish Oil Free Foundation!

I recently picked this up from my trip to Sephora and I thought I would share my thoughts with you about it! Foundation has always been a super tricky one for me being so pale and now wanting a vegan product so whenever I see anything remotely suiting my needs - it's bought!

Let me start off by saying I don't love this foundation but I don't hate it either, I'm in the middle about it so I'll share why I dislike it first that way we can move onto the positives - it is definitely not oil free and if you have oily skin, I do not recommend using this! I have quite dry to sometimes normal skin and it even makes my shiny(oily) and I have to set it with a powder - it can oxide (not much and not always) and is a little too dark to my skin still, I have the shade n10 which is the lightest I saw!

Now on to what I like about it - I like the coverage and I use a damp beauty blender to apply it, it's natural without being too sheer and covers my redness around my nose and any little pimples I may be having but not my dark freckles (not an issue though!) and I'm unsure if it's truly buildable as I want a thin layer that's work appropriate and it leaves my skin feeling smooth and looking nice.

So I'm not urging you to go out and buy it right this second but if you're looking for a natural type of foundation, good for work days that comes in a range of different shades and undertones for you to match with and you're wanting a vegan formula then you could definitely check this out!

If you have any vegan foundations you want to recommend me, please don't hesistate!
